Hi Paul

I have tried to install the AIR icons extension on Win Vista several times now. I keep seeing the same dialogue box like Warrick, saying that I do not have the right to install the extension and to contact the system administrator (which is me). Right click on the File and "Run as Admin" is not available.

Could you send me the .jsf with instructions?

Thanks, Jetson

Thanks for the series on Air applications. I have been going through them in turn.

One of them shows how you made Air Icons from Fireworks and this could be downloaded as part of the show.

Could you let me know where to find the download to add this command to Fireworks?

Many thanks and keep up the good shows... they are brilliant!

Hi Sandro
Its hard to tell without seeing the file. First thing to check is that you are publishing to AIR?
It will not work if you output to .swf as classes like NativeWindow only work with AIR.

Hope this helps

Hi,
first of all thank you for your usefull example.
I have downloaded/ installed the executable file from your above link and the example worked fine.

I also downloaded the source file and tried to build an swf-file.
When I was testing the example using Flash CS5 (with keys ctrl+enter) it worked fine.
But then, when I tried to perform the created "AIR Application UI.swf" file, I got the following error:

VerifyError: Error #1014: Class flash.display::NativeWindow could not be found.

After I clicked the button "continue", the application "AIR Application UI.swf" flickering appeared.
Do you have an idea how I can solve the error?

Many thanks in advance, Sandro.

Hi Paul

I have tried to install the AIR icons extension several times now. I keep seeing a dialogue box saying that I do not have the right to install the extension and to contact the system administrator (which is me). Any idea what may be causing this issue?

Thanks for your work.
